Metro seats

Post by Mariner Man »

Im sure ive heard talk that Metro seats fit in t25's quite easily, however the width of the metro runners are 18" centres apposed to 16" on a 25, has anybody fitted some at any stage, and if so any tips would be greatly appreciated. The seats are really good condition and will be free so if it will be too much hassle i wont bother getting them.
Cheers

I had MG Metro seats in mine for a while, they are slightly wider but what i did was bolt the inner runner directly onto the inner standard rail (on top of it) and the outer one fits just on the outside of the original outer rail so all you need to do is drill two holes through the wheel arch (by the bit where the seat belts bolt through) and use some large washers underneath and thats that. I used the original holes in the Metro seat runners so you don't even need to drill new ones.
If you want any more advice call me 07976 273285.
