oil pressure switch stripped threads

2.0 CU air cooled
Had oil leak from oil pressure switch, got new switch, tried to fit have somehow stripped threads- suspect were doggy hence oil leak.
What can I do now?
Can you get inserts or anything like that , if so how do you fit?
Any help advice greatfully recieved :( :(

I had mine stuck in with ptfe plumbers tape, it was fine for a year then it blew out :x

had the same problem. I fitted a helicoil. I was able to drill out the hole and fit the heli-coil without removing the exhaust. Can't remember the thread size.
Flush the engine afterwards, make sue you get rid of all the swarf.

Might sound like a daft question but i don't know what a helicoil is or where you get it, or how you fit. Is it hard to do or should i get a garage? to do it?
