GTD conversion

Just purchased a gtd off a friend,with a view to put into my pickup...garage have just phoned and have said this will not fit???
Can anyone give me some advice as to what I need to do to the engine to fit a Diesel pickup..as running out of ideas??

Seriously though, if your pickup has a TD in it, this is a stright swap, so long as all the necessary components are swapped from the JX to the GTD.

There should be useful stuff in the Wiki and Alt. engines forum (use the search function).

What sort of components other than sump etc require changing...I need to give them a sort of todo list,as they think this may become a white elephant for them...any help is really appreciated.

If they have your van, and it's already got a TD in, and you want them to swap in a GTD, and they're having a problem, run away and find someone else who knows what they're doing !

I'm sure someone will be along soon to say who in S. Wales CAN do this job
