Rumbling Rear wheel drum and squeeking - replacement needed?

Post by winnie »

Have looked on Wiki for answers and have the haynes manual on my lap searching for answers! Any ideas wheter i'll need to replace the whole drum and if so is it best to do both sides? Also does any one have any recommendations for garages around North Cornwall?

It sqeeks when i pull off and drive slowly then rumbles at higher speeds.

Only bought her a month ago and am a novice :)

Cheers

Mine was rumbling/knocking/binding e.t.c and found it to be a combination of loose castle nut and backplate fouling the drum slightly.

Tightend nut to correct torque and knocked backplate back a bit and shes been rumbling/knocking/binding free since!
