Hi,
Where abouts on the gearbox should i find the code and does anyone know what is the correct code for a 2ltr Aircooled box.
Do they all have the 5 ribs cast into the casing or did some have just 3?
Tryin to find a gearbox but want to make sure i get the right one this time, doh!

Been there done that - you need a DK box and they all have 5 ribs (some call them 6 rib) - code is stamped on a flat on underside - may need a gentle scrape to reveal if corroded or grotty:
