cheers for that, I was wondering if it was going to be less than what I get now. Just doing the maths on whether it would be a wise thing to do! still working it out

as long as it is somehwere in the 20's thats ok.
If it was to drop down to 10 mpg then it wouldn't be worth doing it from a financial point of veiw

Yep. That's about it. ... I average ~170 miles on ~50 litres commuting round here, which has loads of hills. I can get over 200 on a run for a 50 litre tank-full.

I got only 190 miles from 53L 16.2mpg going to Liverpool last weekend But it did only take me 3 hours to do the 220 miles including a stop for gas
On the way back I still had gas left when I got home and have not refilled yet this week. It did take 4.5 hours to get home so if you need to get from A to B in a hurry expect to pay. Still cheap as works out as 38.5mpg pound for pound with petrol :D

I get around 220 miles from 45 litres travelling on M4/M25 from South Wales to North Essex and keeping speed to around 65mph.
Only around 180 miles driving locally (many hills).

237 was an exception (lots miles of 10-15mph on the A30) and as others have said around town your looking at about 170-180 and 210-220 on a run.

I was only LPG'd yesterday and on the 95 mile trip (65mph-ish) between fills, I used 25 litres. This works out about 17.3mpg. 1.9 poptop westy.

Looking at what other folks get, this seems about the norm. On figures given on this thread, mpg varies between 14.6 and 22.2, average 17.8.
