was in wiki but could not find what im after. is there an airflow meter on another vw or other vehicle which fits straight onto the 2.1 dj fuel injection system

thanks wasserleaker very informative are you still running yours on the 1.8 golf meter or did you convert back to the original. reason i enquired was the mechanic had difficulty getting the reading down below 6 to pass mot even though it did come down i am thinking of neat year,but it failed anyway because of uneven rear braking, although new shoes and disks were fitted.or probably because these were fitted.

Yes, still running the golf/jetta gti one at the mo, worth trying syncro spares for a DJ one, from what they say, they've got some in.
still tempted to get my original one recon.d when i can. i did try a BMW 2.0 inj one which had a factory recon sticker on it and still had the 'anti tamper' plug in, but it didnt go at all well using that one.
