it'll be dry so not much mud but what the hell! at least THAT river crossing won't be too treacherous - hey Kev....

yep no probs, as long as I can drive your van...

electrics and water don't go well together as I found out with my last syncro!

seriously though it shouldn't too daunting as there will recovery options when last time there wasn't.

I believe this is the crossing in question:

look right to you Kev?

that's the one, if i remember rightly, there's a drivable 'ledge' and then the 'oh poo my vans floating down the river' drop off.

Though as you say, it should be fairly dry and we'll have help available if there are any problems :? :)

Apparently there are some stepping stones across that river next to the ford, i guess at some point the river has to drop so you can see them, though i haven't seen them on either of my visits :?

As much as i'd like to camp in the dunes, i think we may be better finding a campsite for the weekend, considering the number who have shown interest.

are all the folk who've said they fancy coming along definitley up for it, does any one want to sort out there own camping, are we all happy to camp together? anyone any other thoughts?

Ok, you're not being ignored, just waiting for confirmation from a campsite re numbers we can accomodate, more info will be available as to who, what and where, once this has been sorted.
