i think ' the right way' could be defined as heading east, or following the shortest/most sensible route.

If i remember rightly one certain group was twice seen heading westish and going the opposite way to the other groups.

It was mentioned more than once over the weekend that people did wonder how a certain 3 people managed to find their way to Morocco and back

Yes, Kev, but you must appreciate they where going north to south - don't do west to east!

You mean the lodestones in those Tdis only give a crude rendering of North or South Doug... I could see you wanting to veer off every time we passed you, or was that 'cos we was in your way (again and again)...

oi you cheeky buggers. i think you'll find that we managed to travel the shortest distance between points on both days (jake back me up here man) and therefore were definetly applying logic of some kind or another.

as for morocco I was fully hooked up with GPS and was able to tell the boys on a regular basis that we weren't going in the right direction...

Aye, I'm with Andrew, I think you'll find out route on Sat. was very efficient. And we still came second.

Amd If I am not mistaken, we have a photograph of a beautiful White Horse, the sheet was not specific. Would you like to see it? I demand a recount

You don't acutally think we went to Morocco do you? We just hid in a pub in Scotland whilst I photoshopped a load of piccies..

p.s. Doug - I have asked Al for some shots, he is working on them. The other shots he has sent through are scrumptious.

I bet Al's shots are going to make a really fantastic Coast to Coast photo record, dying to see his gallery put up.

..and every one as sharp as a pin - after all, how could any significant motion have blurred them

Yes, it was one of our major delays, waiting for Al to take each shot, after selecting the appropriate lens, measuring light, setting aperture, shutter speed, adjusting focus. Moving back 2m doing it all again etc etc.. He almost got left behind a few times.

how could any significant motion have blurred them

Mmmmm, fantastic Steak and Ale pie I had on Sunday.

I must admit, was a bit green with envy when one by one you mentioned that Sunday lunch on posing for your portraits, still licking your lips

Every one of those shots says... relaxed, contented, in control, and going nowhere fast :D

Lets not forget we stopped to fell a tree. Allegedly went "the wrong way". Yet still came second on the day. And with a 2 hour lunch on the Sat. as well.

I'm awaiting our piccy of a white horse...

I spoke with Al last night, and he has some pretty good shots, hell, its his profession.... He suggested we do an article and any money from the article go towards the charity..

Well Russel drives a Big Girly Gold thing, he needs to do something to make himself look manly.

Not sure what Doug's excuse is - I'll put it down to youthful exuberance.

Well, Doug does need to keep his eye in, when it comes to cabinet making from scratch...

I'm only gonna incriminate myself Clive, so I'd prefer not to comment!

Well done all, it looks like it was a fantastic event.

Wish I could have been there but roughing it in California at the mo. Kev H, if you can get all the pics together I will put a gallery on the website or if everyone can email them to me at paul@vividfish.net and I will put them up.

Again, well done all - great planning Kev.
