Solex Bisa twin carbs

Post by mcalp »

I will shortly be getting a pair of Laurie Pettit's Solex Bisa carbs fitted to my 1.9 wbx Westfalia hightop, to replace my knackered Pierberg 2E4.

I am expecting an improvement in performance and possibly economy, has anyone on here already fitted a pair and if so how do they compare to the original carb?

Ok, I take it from the lack of response that I will probably be the trail blazer for these carbs on this forum. :o

Hope to have them fitted and tuned by the great LP himself this Friday on my way to the Orkneys, so will report back in a couple of weeks time and let you know how they perform .
