I was tinkering with the engine yesterday in my garage and daylight was getting poor. Engine had been running for some time when I noticed little sparks between the metal plug shrouds and cylinder heads. These were new leads (from JK) only a month ago.
Is this normal ?
Engine seemed to be idling well.
Could it have just been dampness in the air?

I think the problem may be with the leads,
I have refitted the old leads and all seems well.
The new set seem to be made slightly differently in that they are difficult to fit and the shroud doesn't go fully over the plug.
I will try to get Bosch leads in future.
