Took a drive in one today; talk about smooth and responsive; makes my 1.9 tdi westy sound like a tractor !

They are good on the road in all engine forms but they have not got a chance off road with the fuel tank hanging down like an anchor.

Incorrect. VW produced a limited edition W12 version in LHD for some reason in 2006
