layby'ing
Sorry if on wrong forum
New to this camp-site lark,
Planning a weekend trip
Warks/salop
Lot of places though only offer Three night bookings which is not at all what we wanted with the van.
(A night here, a night there)
If we dont' get any luck with site on our way
We can park up in a lay-by or somewhere similar right?

Just check you've not got a hookup cable plugged in, and that you've moved all the junk from under the wheels and then you start the engine and drive off. Just like in a Mondeo.
Then you come back, switch off, apply the handbrake open a beer or 15 and go to bed.
That's why campsites have a booking system. I've not had a pitch nicked yet - although on very busy sites I leave a folding picnic table in the middle of the pitch, just as a reminder!

The 'C' word as in 'Mobile Road Block' is heavily frowned upon.

beat me to it
I had a quick google' and found them ta,
mind you under Warwickshire,
I looked to see Riverside park Stratford
One of which don't offer less than Three nights, at least on Bank Hols
(We rang them last night)
I'll get in the swing of it.
Also,
how can I narrow my search to the smaller sites
maybe on a farm or suchlike, as we don't want entertainment/shops
just a trough to wash in thats best arrr...
