Lower . . . .Higher . . .Stick!

Post by wasserleaker »

Just wondered if my T25, which should have the factory fitted 30mm lower springs, as its a carat, [but hasn't cos its previous owner swapped em to the more usual height, thus raising it] would be classed as modified by the insurers if they were trying to get out of paying up should the worst happen? would lowering it with a 45mm kit be classed as modifying it or would i be returning it to standard! not seen any 30mm drop kits, other than finding some carat springs, or is it doubtful they'd even be clued up enough to know?

If they look like origainal parts they are not going to start measuring to see if its raised.

thats true, andy.
to be honest it 's fine at the height its at now, nice to be able to go over speed bumps without slowing down a deal, and not cringe about it bottoming out, nice as lowered stuff is to look at, a bit of practicality in a daily driver is prob better.
