Failed MOT!

Post by Horney »

Dag nammit!

Mind you only 2 things. Needs a new Brake master cylinder and a rear brake pipe is corroded.

So where's the cheapest place I can get a master cylinder from that will be able to get me one for saturday?

Also does anyone do braided hoses to replaced the rear metal ones (I don't have the kit to knock up a proper one and the garge don't have time to do it for me before mid next week?

Take your old pipe off .... taking immense care not to bu&&er up everything that it's attached to ... and take it to your friendly local motorfactor (no, not Halfwits) and they'll make one for you, perhaps for the price of a brown beer voucher.

WIll they know the dimenssions and fittings already? My problem is the van is in Henley as it was stored at my folks over winter. There are no Motorfactors round that way that make brake pipes up.
