1.6 td engine

i am looking at a 1.6td t25 crewcab,can anybody tell me the mpg and is the engine big enough.Also if a bigger engine is better what engine would be the best to put in it.
would the seats second row of seats from a carravelle gl fit in the back of the crewcab.

mine never does less than 30 mpg and its a high top westy, power steering etc,on a run ive seen 38mpg, in a pick up you should see 35 regularly i would have said...

Depends how and where you drive it.

I have a 1.6 n/a and its good for 25mpg driving around hilly Cornwall, but get it on the straight and it will do 35mpg at 55mph. Its a fully loaded westy with 205 x 10 x 14 tires. The engine is plenty big enough just keep in mind its a 1.6 diesel not a 2.1 petrel.
