Post by BLUG »

ive just put a steering column in my 86 T3 (cs engine),and the connectors on the back of the stalks have come adroft, and i aint a clue how they go back on, ive looked at the male connectors for any signs of marking from a terminal, but theres quite a few that have come off, ive also tried a few different combos, still to no avail.anyone help, with a pic or something??

righto ive got the multiplugs, and there seems to be some extra wires, the plugs are off a g reg panel and mine is a c reg panel.ive wires most of them up and the wipers work, (did the intermittant mod while i was at it),now they work on intermittant and speed two nut not on speed 1(faulty motor???).
the indicators do not work, when you indicate left, the right hand one comes on and stays on,the left doesnt work at all, ive changed the flasher relay, the same happened.
also on the back of these plugs there are 2 green/ black wires, 1 green/black white wire, the vans loom replicates this but the 3 colour wire on the loom is a green and black one but with white notches on it.
im confused, having a break from it but ill be out again in 10 mins.
are there any wiring diagrams availiable???

please help.thanks.

Sorry to say it but a Haynes manual would save you a lot of time.
