whilst at http://www.peakgenerators.co.uk/product.asp?id=629 last week the guy told me he had three of the 50l systems and was willing to do a good deal on one.if i knew anyone who wanted one.so i thought i would post it on here...

What "service" items are needed to run the machine? (Ie filters etc)

I think the most significant extra items (apart from the veg oil) are the chemicals required (Sodium hydroxide, Methanol).

OK.. just trying to see if its actually worth the effort.. 1500 quid + consumables is a lot of fuel in the first place.. Not that I would use it all.. as I have 3 petrol engined vehicles.. Just my tractor is D, but wondering how much I could make and sell to local farmers if cheaper.. Red D is about 60 cents L.. (40p)
Could always buy TD's and replace my fleet though... there are enough cafe and resturants i could get used oil from...
