Survey for Syncropendence Dates

Post by steffanstringer »

Hi,

just got the mail surveying us on the two possbile dates. Would it be a good idea to have an 'both dates suitable' option?

For newcomers, is there somewhere to find a description of what to expect at Syncropedence? Where is it? what happens, what costs, etc?

thanks
Gary

Where?

Different sites every year so far, notified of course after booking (all part of the fun. not knowing where :) ), all in Wales so far

Basically 2 nights camping, optional 3rd for a relaxed Sunday afternoon and de-camp, sometimes local green-laning on Monday (adhoc)

Sat night barbecue for all, bring basic food, barbie provided with sundry accoutrements.. Campfire both nights normally...

Families and children welcome, but wild camping! usually near to a riverside, standpipe water available, no loos...

Driving, talking, crawling under vehicles, more driving, more standing around talking, more lunch, more talking, more driving...

When?

Either 1st or 2nd weekend in July, braxcketing July 4th, hence Syncropendence day

Article in Camper & Bus March on last year's should give you a very good flavour of what SP's are about

As Doug says, lots of stuff on the Syncro website, description of SP1

Cheers
