dash bulbs

can anyone tell me where i can get the little bulbs that light up the dash
i bought some from halfords that looked the same but when i opened the packet they were slightly different and would'nt hold in so i bodged them a bit to stay in anyone have any ideas.

i need one of those bulbs for my van, went to halfords and almost bought one...i noticed it was slightly different!!...searched for ages for one...finally got one from a guy at bustypes, he removed it from a dash he was selling :D
best bet would be to try a breaker??

vw garage sell them cheap , i have some if required i put led's in mine

you have to remember not to put your swag in the pocket with your money in if you do that Guz, looks bad when you bring your hand out of your pocket to pay the man for something, and a load of bulbs, fuses etc. fall out! :oops:
Sevy, did you put 12v led's in, or use lower voltage ones with resistors soldered on? tried some red 12v on mine but not really bright enuff, look cool otherwise tho.

Copied from a previous one, they have changed 'em. Try the items listed below, works with mine. Good luck. :D


Just got new one, V dub man had trouble finding it, but its below. It has changed from black with integral bulb to white holder and seperate bulb.

Bulbholder is part number 321919039 (£1.18 +vat)
Panel (? thats what the invoice says) 941QBU286DBL (£1.28 + vat)
