I changed the temp sensors as the injection was massively over-fuelling (there's a seperate thread for that).

This afternoon I have replaced the sensors, replaced the water hose that split, and sorted out the slight oil leaks from the extra pressure and temp sensors I added.

Starts and runs OK now. :D

I think I'll get the garage to sort out the timing, mixture, and idle when I book it in for the MOT. The exhaust has some slight blue smoke but I'm hoping its just because the new engine has been sitting un-run for almost a year and it'll sort itself out. The engine is out of warranty now so I'll have to put up with it anyway if it doesn't :(

Just need to change the brake disks and calipers first. Hopefully I can do that in less than a year and not have to have extensive help from here ;)

Thanks for all those who helped, and anyone who was rooting for me. :)

Mike.

No spark

This may be a wild suggestion but we lost a rally years ago with no sparks. The distributor drive had sheared. Took us ages to find that the rotor and distributor shaft was not going round!
