VW badges

Post by tonytone »

I dont believe it !!!!!!. I thought the practice of nicking your front grille VW badge had long died out, obviouslyfeking not as mines gone today. Anyone else suffer this prob with the 'locals' and where can i get another badge. Any useful anti theft ideas are most welcome.

It was prob'ly the beastie boys, you've got to fight for your right to own a VW badge. Apparently...

Sorry for your badge, there is no `anti nob-end' device that I know about, and I've had `em nicked (sporadically) for the last 18-20 years.

At least we now have ebay to get replacements. I once payed around £12 for a scirocco grille badge, from VAG. (now 50p for as many as you can carry on ebay)

No rhyme or reason for the little To55ers, they will learn one day, when someone pinches their cavalier badge!

are we talking the plastic chrome at the centre of the plastic grille? do people really nick them? What about painting the back of the them with anti vandal paint-leaves very sticky, dirty hands
