Hi all - got a cracked carb and pretty desperate to get this replaced by bank holiday - anyone know a specialist in manchester area that would be able to help me out with a replacement?

Steve at Gasure has just dismantled our carb, cleaned it and reassembled it.

The little darlin' (bus not Steve) now runs like a dream, IMHO easily the lovliest sounding standard bus at bustypes.

Couldn't recommend him highly enough if you can get to him.
Jane and Paul

More seemingly inept VW un/related questions/statements will follow in due course.
