Antoher Swivel Seat Question

Post by Tony&Molly »

I have searched the forums but cannot find the answer. I would like to fit a swivel base to my passenger side seat. It's an electrick porsche seat and I can see that kathyshack has fitted one to hers but she dosen't mention who made it. Any info is much appreciated.

Thanks

Tony

Seem to remember the Kathyshack thread.
I think she used a standard VW swivel seat unit.
I suggested wiring up with curly kettle leads, so you could rotate seat without fouling the wiring.
I'm sure someone with a better memory will be along shortly.

Its a universal one as rob says. It had to have an additional frame built too. I'll take some pics next time I've got the van if you like. (next weekend)

Thanks for the response. Some pics would be great if you could Kathy, also do you know where I can get a universal mount from?

Cheers
