oil leak and mot...

can your van fail its mot with a bad oil leak?
my brothers van is due its mot end of this month and he needs to get it through to tax it. just wondering whether it'll get through its mot and then he can organise sorting oil leak in a few weeks....

As long as it dosent make the vehicle dangerous! Like steering fluid or brake fluid leaking! Oh and dosent mess up the testers work shop!!!

he he, might actually mess up the workshop though, as when it gets hot it kind of trickles out! :shock: when he bought it, i think it had some really thick oil in there rather than what is recomended. Maybe he'd be better putting some thicker oil for classic car in there before he goes for mot....
