16" mercedes ML alloys
will they fit a syncro? I know the stud pattern is right but will I need longer studs or to machine out the centers? I've been offered a set but wanted to check before I say yes.

I think its because to change the studs you need to remove the drive flange which is integral to the bearing housing...
This cannot be done withot removing the bearings which cannot be re-fitted reliably once removed - that is, to remove the bearings damages them, and the whole assembly requires re-building with new bearings and seals.
So the time to do this is when the bearings are in need of replacing, which is not often on the Syncro front...
