Post by finbahr »

Does anyone know where I can buy a pair of front suspension bushes for my T25.

The garage can't get them for my MOT....says they're discontinued

I would try Baxter - he sells powerflex polymer bushes which I have yet to try but reports say they are excellent.

link: http://www.brickwerks.co.uk/ - look under products.

well they were not discontinued... try JK for the ones that go in the "eye" , they do them all..
It would be worth doing the lot on the ARB this make a big difference to the handling..
Brickworks does a kit of all the bits in upgraded poly, but I dont think it includes the "eye" one
Need to get teith the part number off the side of the arb chassis mounting rubber or measure the diameter to determne which ones you need.. 2 different sizes..

The different sizes relate to the anti roll bar diameter and not the link.
I sell the bottom bushes, not the top.
GSF only sell the upper bush in one size - for 19mm ARB, and not for the 21mm, I suppose they hope that the one for 19mm will fit both, which they do, sort of.

Heres a good rule of thumb for working out what you need.

If it has 2 bolts holding the anti roll bar to body bush clip in place, it will be a 22mm ARB
If the anti roll bar to body bush clip has one bolt then it could be either 19mm or 21mm. so, if it is a commercial, i.e, a T3 that left the factory as a pick up or panel van, then it will be 19mm, if it left the factory as a passenger carrying vehicle, they will be 21mm

Easy.
