Cold start problems - SORTED

Post by Jamie25 »

.....by the man in the know, Headly18 aka Pete.

Over the winter the my 1.9dg panel van was always reluctant to start from cold. After trying all sorts (following the advice found on here) I finally did what I should have done months ago and contacted the experts, Gasure. Or more accurately, Pete who fitted it last year.

Cannot say enough good things, either about LPG in general or Pete who was more than helpful and got it sorted.

Here's to Gasure and cheap motoring - well alright, cheapER motoring.
I'm sure that rust wasn't there last week! Rust blue slowly going yellow panel by panel - And five years later, Orange!

Certainly did.....

It always started on the button on petrol but reluctant from cold on gas. Spoke to Pete on the phone and described the problems. Turns out I'd messed up the programmable switch and it wasn't gassing for long enough on start up. The two 'clicks' were one right after the other instead of a few seconds apart. All sorted now though!
