Westy Gas Tank

Post by Dubstar »

Has anybody retro fitted one to their van out there? Are the floor brackets in place or will I have to have some welded on, and was it easy to wire in? Was just thinking of getting a later battery charge indicator panel with the extra switch in. Oh yeah, and has anybody got one one and how much are they? Thanks in anticipation. :D

Does it have a heat system on it like the Westy one to stop the gas freezing in cold weather? Apparently it stops it condensing too much on the way out and giving large flames in the camper. Still a good price for the Gasure kit though.

no but I think it would be ok as it uses lpg from service station which I would have thought would be ok in winter, but I can't recall having made a cuppa on a really cold day since it was fitted, give Steve Shaw at Gasure a bell and ask, he's a very helpful chap.
