steering column advice needed t25

whats the best way to remove the top snap off bolts on the column of my t25, had a little go with a chisel, but had been working on it all day so left it for the time being,also, where car i get new snap off column bolts from?

any help appreciated :D

Try knocking a 12 point socket over them, normally work for me. Just put normal m8 bolts back in, there are much easier ways of stealling a t3 than messing with these.

righto ill try that, if ive not buggered it enough already, its just with its shape being conical,im prob gonna use noraml bolts if i cant find any snap off ones, do vw still do them/they look remarkably similar to ones used on minis, difrerent thread tho.
