seat arm rests

Post by jackass »

I have two single leather seats in the front of my van, which i believe are the old Saab type.
The passenger one however is connected to what looks like a double seat base frame though, as the previous owner had built some fancy leather folding arm rest that came down and was also connected to the frame.
I'm keen to do away with all this and have my eye on a swivel unit on Ebay.
My question to you fine people is this....
Where can i find two sets of individual arm rests (as you would find on VW captains seats), to buy on their own at a decent price. I've managed to find some black leather fabric at a really reasonable price, so then it will just be a matter of getting someone to reupholster them, but first i need the arm rests! Oh, and also, how easy IS it to connect arm rests to the sides of existing seats?? Anyone with previous experience or any advice will be my friend forever.
