Post by Other-Power »

Hi all just a small Q

Had my van up on a ramp over the weekend to have a look to see what needs doing.

Only thing that needs doing asap ish was the hand brake cables needing re routing and balancing.

Are the hand brake mechanisme self adjusting or do i need to do it myself. I hope they are but do i need to let them go back to ingage the rachite mechanisume thing cause i cant spell?

Thanks

Jon

What do you mean by re-routing?

The cables will balance themselves unless they are individually badly adjusted at the yoke end.

Clarify your problem with the handbrake ratchet :(

the had brake is self adjusting to usually it's self decides not to! you'll not do any harm by adjusting it up!
