webber conversion for t25 watercooled

Post by trevor230 »

i bought one of the webber conversions from justkampers for my t25 1.9 watercooled, my local garage has fitted it but cannot get the black plastic plenun chamber bolted back on to the new carb because the pipes from the auto choke get in the way,has anyone else fitted one of these and did you have the same problem, any suggestion?

After spending that much money on what JK claim to be a direct replacement I would be contacting JK for some answers--

Look here:

The photo "Right" shows the auto choke and its pipes. They shouldn't foul the black air filter attachment. The air filter attachment isn't attached in these pictures.

By the way, one of the three bolts for the air filter attachment cannot be used with the Weber kit and must be plugged. There's a plastic plug for this in the kit (mine was red).
