owlets,
These are them CLICK HERE
here are photos

someone (me
) stuck the alpine bit on upside down!!!!
and at the back I've got these wee beasties!!! very retro, late 80's or should that be old!!

They are great speakers, I love them! The only problem was that Alpine see it fit not to supply speaker grills for the big speakers, great if you are 20 something and have no kids and drive a corsa or saxo, but when you're aging and have 3 little boys whose only aim in life is to seek, locate and destroy not so good. I had made some myself out of thin wood and aluminum mesh, but was told that even though my efforts were good they looked crap!
So when he went car booting he found the grills which are on in the pictures, with the little fly thing! they fit and do the job! And only cost 50p. bargain!

Peet,
I have no idea!!
the bus was sold to me as a devon bus.
but when I took the door cards off to remove the leccy windows they are marked up on the inside with grey/ mid blue/ grey. so at least an English speaking bloke / blokette did that bit!
OR
could just be crawley thing.....it used to live there until I paid a huge amount of money for it, still throwing wads at it may be some will stick!
it's not a bad colour combination though

Oi owlets if you fit door speakers make sure you put some waterproof backing on them or even a hood over the magnet and cone
ignore this if the original plastics are intact
mine are 110w 5" pioneers from amazon

amazon link
yes a plastic cover behind the door card (factory fitted)....mine was semi removed so I had to protect the back of the speaker from any water ingress from the window
opted for the hood
