Rear Wiper control

Post by BillyBus »

I seem to find it very difficult to switch the rear wiper on and off. Sometimes when I think I have put it off it keeps going, and I really have to be hard on the stalk to get it to go, and when I do turn it off it throws up another jet of water and a single wipe before it goes off. It can be stubborn to switch on too!
Is this just wear on the controls, could I do something to help, or is this just how it is normally?
Has anyone seen my marbles?
No...oh, wait...I never had any :)

Mine works much the same way but is exactly as explained in the drivers handbook.
A quick flick will squirt water and start the intermittent wipe sequence. One longer flick will give a longer squirt and four wipes then switch off. To stop the intermittent sequence you have to give another quick flick (you also get another little squirt) .
