getting an old gas system fixed in the van at the mo.
Just got it back as he's waiting for some parts to come. He says it started running bad and he had to turn the idle way up to get it to stay goin.
Since getting it back i've discovred the idle valve wasn't opening. I bypassed the wiring and it clicks off and on ok. Got it started turned the idle way back down and everything is fine until i disconnect the the temporary wiring.
Instead of trying to find what has been disconnected if anything can I wire in another connection for this, where does it come from ?
At the minute there is two wires connected to the plug that connects to it. One from a 'sensor' ? on a metal water pipe just beside it and one which dissapears into a loom and looks to go up front somewhere, this is also connected to a wire leading to the carb somewhere.
Any ideas ?
