tdi clutch

Hi could anyone tell me what i need to upgrade to a 228mm clutch to suit the extra torque of the tdi motor? is there a best way preferably using vw factory parts? i have read about people using mk3 tdi flywheel and pressure plate with a alternative centre plate to match the input shaft splines is this right? has anyone tryed this? many thanks Andrew
