I've just brought one :)

Anyone found any cheap orange cable to go with it??

Also how are you guys fixing the external socket? Are you cutting a pannel, mounting it underneath or like i'm thinking, putting it inside the rear numberplate flap.

I bought one of these a few months ago and i'm simply going to fit the 'male' end onto the end of the cable and coil it up and store it behind the inspection flap so when i pull up i simply pull down the flap and pull out the lead and attach the extension to it, saves even more holes in the van.

Hadn't got as far as thinking where it will go yet, only just pulled up the existing purple carpet to expose 47 miles of old 12v wiring that seems to work nothing.

I find that I am starting from scratch, 12v main battery side of things first, then I'll have a crack at the leisure system (is an 85ah leisure battery enough?) the move on to the 240v....

Screwfix were pretty good for arctic cable when I bought half a mile of it last year! (no joke)

Yer, i know it's in various colours but the whol point of orange is that it can be seen easly and not tripped/mowed over.

If you have a cupboard behind the drivers seat screw it to that and fit the 13amp socket next to it.
