If like I was, you are having problems getting the stereo you want to fit without damaging the wires, then you will need one of these.

its a 15mm stereo spacer purchased from ebay, used for land rovers as apparently they suffer from the same problem.
Its a crappy photo but you can see how it works and looks.
Think it was about a tenner delivered.

i on the other hand, being from the great northern county of yorkshire, and not being accustomed to paying over the odds for the use of my own common sense, simply pushed some lugs on the cage out so it wouldn't fit all the way back and then pushed the rest of the lugs out to hold it it place, this cost me nothing! :twisted:

Yes I must admit I seem to have Ebay on drip at the mo.
Not going to look for a month now.. Its costing me a fortune. :roll:
