't was not the clash - 't was me.
Having recycled a few of the clash's cast off 2*4 T25's - and having recently driven the now rebuilt 4*4 clashmobile - I decided to get me one of me own.
Long process it seems - have looked at lot's of others of varying quality and price and have driven some miles trying to find a decent one for sensible money. This one popped up after I'd all but given up - and only 1/2 hour down the road too. Had to have it - 'twas a delivery from 'The Cosmic Delivery Company' (that being the company that delivers EXACTLY what you wanted when you didn't know you wanted one - they do a great range in Nissan Prairies, BMW bikes and woodburning stoves too).
It's my 3rd T25 and I reckon it feels tighter and more together than any of the others. Lack of slack on the gearchange a quietness of the motor lead me to beleive the 33k miles may be genuine. Pulls very strongly and emits no smoke.
Now I have a 1990 Holdsworth Villa 3 to get rid of - 1.7D motor - very clean & well sorted etc etc - every original extra - 113kmiles - will soon be advertising soon for £5750 (at this time of year) rising to £6250 in spring.
