Propex exhaust

Post by mininut »

Got a Propex X1 in me van but it's got no flexible exhaust attached to the rigid outlet to take the gases from under the van towards the sill. Can't seem to find anything suitable. The rigid outlet from the heater is 40mm O/Dia, tried some 42mm I/Dia flexi exhaust pipe which fitted right but it won't bend tight enough and ends up 4" from the floor :?
Anyone got any ideas where I can get something that would bend quite tight without kinking.
Tried Propex site, no luck, no spares listed.

Yes aluminium flexible pipe (not car exhaust) I needed a clip to keep it on but it certainly bent round OK

about foot long all squashed up and two foot extended

Did my propex last week and went to halfords but they only stock 40mm as standard and I needed 25mm so I had to order it so best to order it from halfords on the phone before you go and collect it!
