supercharger on 1.9d??

i presently run a1.6td t25 . but she has done 190k still runs sweet!! but is starting to loose power[ still does 70] has been well looked after.
reasently i came across a 1x 1.9 engine nice and cheep , and as the power output is about the same i wanted to have a bit more poke from it.
as i know there a bit on the slugish side.
i have been toying with the idea of fitting a super charger as i can get hold of almost new units off a new mini at a good price .
does any one know if this is a good idea before i start.
ihave measured every thing up and it will all fit in the space but will it give me a reasanoble increase in power

hi colin,
yes it sounds doable but bare in mind you also need to increase fueling with the increase in intake pressure and volume.
