Heating in a T25 Aircooled

Post by gwa »

Hello,

I am having trouble getting any hot air into the front of my van, it is a T25 1.9 Aircooled. The Heat exchangers were replaced by a mechanic friend of mine (before I bough the van)`who has since retired, he said he thinks he shut the vents off as it was during the summer and the levers to the controls in the front have snapped.

My question is how can I re open them and where are they ?

any help greatly appreciated.

regards

alex

The cable fastens to a nipple on a flap on each exchanger, have a look underneath and the cables may have been disconnected and the flaps wired closed. either way fix them in the position opposite to what you find.

Fitting new ones is easy enough and theyre not dear.
