Tyre Pressures?

Post by mikeytar3 »

I'm just about to upgrade my syncro to 215/75X 15 tyres, but what pressures do use?

That depends on the tyres maximum press rating as well as the Syncro... and the balance
I run my Machos at about max. rating, from mem. 35 psi (34 front 36 rear)
18~12psi off-road muddy

With road tyres let the VW recommendations guide you, but you should know what changing front/rear relative pressures does to the handling (oversteer/understeer) Lower the front, undertseer, lower the rear, oversteer. Understeer is stable.

Look up the range of pressures the mfr. recommends..

Ask again... so someone who knows those tyres responds
