Dunno if they'd be 'off-road' enough for you, but BFG do the AT in a 215/70R16, which at 28" tall should just fit onto a 14 Syncro. There should be a few other choices out there.

I think Pete Morrill may have been running 16" rims on a 14 at some point, he may have something to offer.

I just want these tyres for off road so am after full on ones. The tyres i am looking at are 27" which is a little low.

Hi Andys,
I was running 215/65/16 (freelander orig size) with no problems at all. I believe that any tyre without a profile is an 80 anyway. eg 205 16, but I could be wrong.
Pete.

Thanks for the offer but i think they are way too tall without body mods. Colway do a 225/70/16 which is 28.4" but i don't think i would get away with that.

Sowden tyres website backs you up Pete, and my tyres just say 205 R16 on them (hence the receipt checking  )
