Yes they do but why do you want to check it? Is your oil light on? Not sure how to check it though.

Aircooled is simple

Post by cumbriankeith »

My Aircooled 2 litre only has a simple oil pressure warning switch and red dash light - no buzzer.
I've added oil pressure and temp gauges myself.

First watercooled engine would be Feb 1981!!

There are also some 1984 'A' reg. air cooled T25s around, first registered some 2 1/2 years after the water boxer made its first appearance. :)
The crossover period lasted for several years.
