Wiring up "on" light on my fridge

Post by Sven »

I want to wire up some lights to tell me if there is power going to my fridge.
One when its running on 12V, the other when on 240V. There are switches but would prefer to have an indicator light so can see if its on at a glance.
Cant remember what model it is but the vans a 88Autosleeper......the finest conversion money can buy....ahem
Thanks

fit a bulb on the generator circuit to the fridge and ground it wherever you want
the relay is under the drivers seat I think.

it should only light up when the fridge draws current from the gen then

I'm desparately trying to find the Autosleeper wiring diagram bear with me :D

Yep ...I camp in a luxury dream camper Ian..............toast anyone?

I fitted a light to the lower half of the dash ( so it doesn't get on your t=ts when lit) in front of the passenger seat, now we can see that when the green light is on all is Ok with the fridge. No more having to twist around.

mr leisuredrive was on the ball when he wired mine up..... he fitted an illuminating switch into the signal wire that switches the relay, both on the split charge and the fridge, so bboth are switchable and both are seeable.....

pity the best converters didn't bother...hahaha
