T25 Ford Pinto Conversion
I'm just in the process of converting my 1989 T25 panel van to run on a rebuilt 2.1 litre Pinto, so I thought I'd share with you. Though it's not finished yet, you can follow the progress on my website:

Hope it's of some use/interest

I got it from this place:
http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Fascinating-Finishes-Ltd
I used a small gloss paint foam roller and a gloss paint brush & gave it 2 coats. The paint goes on fine, though it dries quickly, so you have to keep the edges "alive".

Most of the way through this conversion now, so I've posted it up on my site www.justbuggin.co.uk.
It's not fully up to date yet, but I'll be adding more very shortly.

can I ask - is the pressure plate modified in any way ?
I am having problems with my 2.8 cologne engined crew-cab clutch, the pressure has had a 10mm disc drilled and bolted to the plate to take up the adaptor plate spacing the motor away from the gearbox
does that small spacer/flange thing push the flywheel back to the box on yours
ta

Sorry for the late reply Mick.
I'm rebuilding mine as per the original set up when it had the ford diesel lump in it. So, in that case, NO, it had a stock VW pressure plate. I'm assuming it all works correctly when it's up & running again. I bloody hope so, as I don't want to have to drop the engine out again.
The only modified bit in the clutch assembly is an additional bearing carrier to support thr end of the input shaft.
