bearings n gauges

Being a noobie, i still have that paranioa lurking over me . . . .
picked up on a couple of issues on me way back from Brighton. . . .
Halfway home, put Another £15 of squirt in, took the gauge to nearly halfway. but a few miles up the road, the needle was on the red .OK yes it does fluctuate, but also me temp needle shot down to cold . . .kinda like a mirror image of where the fuel needle went???
secondly. . . how dyou diagnose suspect front wheel bearings? Got a droning sound under me seats, i thought it was me bass too high first. . . .but then muted the Sony, still there
more so at low speeds, think i can even feel it thru me feet at times
Is it ANOTHER trip to GSF ????

how dyou diagnose suspect front wheel bearings?

tonight when its quiet find a big empty carpark and see if it stops rumbleing when you do a few big right handed circles. if its much louder when your doing them in the other direction id say it was on its way out.
