If you have a look on Brick-yard, in the for sale forum, there's a 2.0 Aircooled van for sale, plus the guy has a spare engine:

I also have a USA spec 2.0l engine which is in very good condition and came from a low mileage crashed van. It is complete with all tinware and was going to go in the bus. This I believe has the better heads and is quite desirable. The engine will be offered to the buyer of the van or will be for sale separately for £250 if the new onwer doesnt want it.

I don't know what the difference is with a USA spec engine, but might be worth asking the question?

Funnily enough I found that ad a couple of days ago..... emailed the chap but have had no reply. I'm interested in the american engine, don't think there are too many differences?

I don't suppose anyone knows the guy that's selling them????

Thanks
